[sdiy] OT/basic ID: A Moog Rogue?

Yep, that's the famous Moog Rogue, my personal favorite. A brute of a synth
for being so simple and little. I use mine constantly and have gotten to
know it intimately. I've seen them popping up on a lot of famous
synth-players' racks lately, notably Roger Joseph Manning, Jr., of the Beck
band. Easy transport, crappy noise source, the "overdrive" feature doesn't
seem to do anything, but nice 2-oscillator intro to synthesis. I am curious
to speak with other Moog Rogue owners, I think my glide doesn't work right.
If I have it cranked to the Max and hit my first note, should it glide from
0Volts up to that note or should it start at that note and gliss to
successive notes hit? How does the Minimoog glide behave?
Your pal,
fatback
