This reminds me of a story an electronics teacher told us once. Back in the 
day a monitor caught fire. Someone grabbed a fire extinguisher and started to 
put it out. When the cold gas met the hot glass the neck cracked. The suction 
from the vacuum inside the tube caused the neck to be fired out of the screen 
like a missile. I think someone ended up dying or seriously injured from it.
