I am a simple lurker, a very occasional builder of a LFO, fuzz box, whatever.
And kinda out of my depth here in Synth DIY.
More in love with possibility than with actual soldering, I come here anyway
to read and soak in the intelligence and resourcefulness of the participating
members.
And I come here for another allied reason: to see strangers from the
Americas, Europe and Australia (Asia, too sometimes, tho' language can be a
more of a hitch) help each other as colleagues and even friends. All looking
for an interesting noise or new way to generate it. People around the world
sharing ideas is a fun and hopeful thing to witness.
In this context, your condolances regarding the loss of lives in NYC and DC
are especially moving and very appreciated. The USA is a weird place to be,
right now, and your sympathies couldn't be better timed.
And while this might sound corny on any other day, I wish the world was more
like Synth DIY, where people reach across oceans and borders to learn and
share.
Thank you both for your kind words and good examples.
In search of an interesting noise,
Kevin Seward
