Hi --
I'm not sure I understand this statement. My point was just that the input
of an OTA with linearizing diodes will clip when the input current exceeds
the diode programming current. This is independent of the OTA gain, so it is
easy to clip the input without clipping the output. Terry's recent post on
his 3280 VCA verified this.
