[sdiy] Korg Trident mod experiences?

Hi!
First of all, I'm desperately searching for the schematics / service 
manual of this beast. So if someone has them, please contact me, I would 
pay for copy expenses and shipping of course.

I just received a Korg trident from a friend who asked me to "find any 
modifiable things". Have you any experience with this?
The owner is very interested in "a switch that turns it into a 
monosynth" and an external CV/Gate interface. Don't know if this is 
possible until I see the schemos...
AFAIK the trident uses a multiplexer to send the pitch CV to all eight 
voices. WOuld it be risky to hack this multiplexer in some way? For 
example send the same CV to all 8 voices all the time?

Other suggestions are welcome, of course..
