Well, it took them a month and a half, but these filter chip samples 
finally shipped.

And promptly managed to get lost somewhere in my pickup truck.

So, when I find them, I will most certainly breadboard them and give a full 
report on both sound and characteristics with my luckily acquired new 
scope.  =)
