[sdiy] Cutoff trimpot for the Yamaha CS-5?

I've recently bought a Yamaha CS-5 with a a cutoff defect.
When I lifted the hood off I saw that only two of the three
legs of the trimpot where attached to the board, so I
soldered on the third leg. The thing is that this trimpot
is not an original component and when i soldered on the third
leg the synth seems to be on all the time, somewhat like a
sample and hold function(?)

I need to get to the bottom of this and therefore I require
a service manual or any tip regarding the cutoff trimpot
of the CS-5.  Does anyone have it?
