Multimeter QuestI have seen much discussion on how to decorate front panels but not much on acquiring the raw panels.

I found a sheet of 6061-T4 0.071" for $78 at Boeing Surplus. This seems to be such a deal. But, that will make enough front panels to last a lifetime. Alas, I have no offspring.

The machine shop next door will cut the sheet into 8.75"x3.5" panels for $60. I think that this is an okay price.

Boeing Surplus has new transformers that may be of interest. 115V/230V split primary, two secondaries 14V @ 420mA each, $3.
