Hi Gur,

I was looking for these IC in 1999 for my two quantisisters, I had a very
helpful response from the Synth Diy list, one or two people found them for me in
their corner electronics shops, and I tracked down some with some companies,
they are not easy to find.

Here are some of the leads I was given, I hope they are of help to you?
If you need an elektor quantisiser board let me know I can make one from my
transparancies.

* ELV :  A bit like Maplin, they also have a magazine, and publish 
their kits as projects .  Mail order only, not that big a range of 
parts .  Also a lot of novelty stuff, tools etc .  Go and take a look 
at www.elv.de .

Even Conrad Germany carries the ZN 427 E so it can't be a hard to get
part. But it's rather expensive (34.95 DM). The order number is
180386-11. They have the ZN 428 E too. Do you want to repair something?
There are certainly other 8 bit A/D converters that are much cheaper.
