Years ago, the called the midrange driver the "squawker". In my family,
we had a dog and a bird for pets. And being as my father was a "HiFi"
nut, it is easy to see what we called the dog and cat as nicknames. Mom
wasn't happy with the moniker left over for her. ;-)
