Logic probes can be handy. But, if it comes down to scope vs. logic
probe, pick the scope.

Actually, I would think a logic probe would not be all that useful for
midi. It depends on what you are looking for. If you just want to see if
there is activity on the midi line, yeah, a logic probe will do that.
