I had now the time to listen to the sample: This is simply a layer sound
that I suspect to be in the second edition of the JP8's factory sounds. 
The first sound is a sync sound (inverted ENV1 to VCO2) fading away in
the same speed as the sync rises.
The second sound is a simple symmetric pulse wave fading in, maybe the
filter is opening a littlebit while the fade in.

I have to say, that I do like the FM-version of the feedback-like sounds
much more than this sync based one.
