[sdiy] Pratt-Reed Mechanisms

Hi All,

I have a bum key on a Pratt-Reed mechanism (ie. no trigger, bottom 
octave "F" to be exact). The contact wire is striking the J-wire 
correctly, but still no trigger. Before I start disassembling the 
pc-board from the mechanism (ouch!), anyone familiar with these 
mechanisms have any ideas?

Also, if I do need to disconnect the pc-board, any 
instructions/cautions on doing this?
