Indeed. If you look around, people have added stuff to their ASM-1
which was not there in the first place. But this is also the idea of
the ASM-1, it does not do everything, but a few things which makes it
a rudimentary synth which can be used by its own. Even if all the
modules is contained on the same PCB, they only share the power lines
and physical PCB, but interconnection wise they are separate modules
which should work well with other stuff.

Well, I don't recall the numbers from the top of my head, but it is
somewhere in the $200-$400 range. Some of that depends on how much you
spend on contacts, pots etc.
