Better yet, do a 303 filter and put it in parallel with the fatman filter so
you can mix the two outputs, sort of like in the sh-5 filter, where you have
an OTA based filter in parallel with a 303-like diode ladder filter.

BTW, a 303 filter has very very few components, so it would be fairly easy.

As far as the 18db ota filter, IIRC, each stage gives 6db of slope, so 18db
*could* work, although your poles might behave strangely, which might be
exactly what you want! It would be definitely novel, but you wouldn't have
the strange filter CV modulations and pole meanderings like with the 303
filter.

Now *that* would be nice!
