Aaaaaahh one of my favourite analogue sound tricks ;-) It is FM ! You
can do it also with an DX7. The modulator is a quint below the Carrier.
As long the Modulator is active, you get a sound an ocatve below the
Carrier. Now fade away the Modulator and the Carrier stands alone - one
octave higher.
