   Are there any ARP 2500 users on the list who can share
   some first-hand experience of this feature ? I can see that
   it makes a lot of sense from theory - how useful is it in
   practice ?

Hi JH!

I've never used one but...  it is true that many of the ARP 2500
modules have unexpected useful features built in.  In fact I think
it's worth studying the ARP 2500's general style of module design
carefully because of the number of features they were able to pack
into each module.

You can get a copy of the ARP 2500 owners manual at Anders' site:
