Go check on the Creamware Scope / Pulsar modular.
Like other soft modulars it beats "real" modulars in the number and types of
modules available.
But cause it uses a bunch of Shark DSP it offers a _bit_ more power compared
to native pentium or ppc solutions.
What was it, 1xShark >10x 1G Pentium, 7 sharks on the pulsarII, 15 on the
Scope?
Scope is priced up in the sky, but cheaper than 150 PCs.
And it comes with a software development tool,
so you may DIY your own modules :)
