[sdiy] Electronic Enclosures question

Hi all,

        I've just built a Theremin type device for my step son, for Xmas,
 and am having a hell of a time finding a box to put it in. I need
something about 3 to 4 inches high by 20 inches wide by 6 or so inches
deep.  I live in a small apartment so I can't do any decent carpentry.
Does any one have any ideas for anything off the shelf ? 
I need something especially 18 to 24 inches long for seperation of
"pitch" and "Volume" antennas.
        
        Also, If I decide to wait on this project, does anyone have a
good plan for a ring modulator based on the 3080 OTC. This project would
be easier to box up.
