Hey now....

Have I ever called for a 'holy war' against ALL BBDs....

NO! I think NOT.

What I have done (and my record is clear on the issues)

is urge newbies NOT to attempt to DIY delay units using the
BBD and expecting ANY kind of performance

(well... maybe excepting BAD or POOR performance) ;^P

but on the issue of modifying an existing BBD, hey...
hack 'em if you got 'em. Throwing one away before it is truly dead
would be a waste of material (and potential learning experience).

So I like to send each and every one of you some BBD
to experiment with. They will arrive in your mailbox
soon, packed safely in antistatic white powder !!!
