Some of the threads in the past few days and weeks about CMOS
oscillators, suboctaves and additive synthesis has had me thinking of a
somewhat additive synth module using a square VCO "master oscillator"
driving something like a 4024 to get six suboctaves, with a dedicated
EG for each six of the outputs, all feeding a 4049 hex vca. Oh, and
throw a inverter SVF in there, too. Seems it could get some nice
animated waveforms. Anyone try this before? Tips? Ideas?
