[sdiy] Analog Delay Lines (was) [common acronyms?]

I have (and have had for many years) a nice digital delay. I also have a
tape loop by Melos, though am missing the tape at the moment. Still, I waste
hours messing around with home made tape delays...  I guess that's what DIY
is about... The satisfaction of doing it yourself.
