If you are to build a sequencer from deviders,
Which I find an excellent idea, I'd defenately
would build it in Max first, since you're midiing anyway.

I was lucky enough to work in BEA5, the www.koncon.nl
sonology analogue studio. I learned that interfacing the
the deviders matters a lot for live-wiggleling the
sequencer.

So, in Max (which runs on the mac, (and on linux))
you'll be able to find out weather your ideas
work for you, and it will help you to design
your hardware to your needs from the first
flipflop up.
