    Ok, here are the results, 12 hours latter, like I promised (man, I
need to get to bed!).

    The circuit that I tested is on page 7 of this
document:http://www.silcom.com/~patchell/smb1/smb.pdf

    And yes, this is an exponential glide, and I double checked it by
looking on the scope.

    Here it is, from fastest attack time to slowest attack time (ms to
seconds) the offset shift is <drum roll>

    0.02mV, yes, that is right 20 micro volts.  In fact, it was
difficult to measure.

    So, using a CA3280 in an exponential glide circuit gives you
basically no control feedthrough....

   And it should be noted, this is an untrimmed CA3280.  A part picked
purely at random....
