Since somebody mentioned manuals, I figured I'd let everybody know about a
current project I'm working on that could come in very handy for putting
scanned manuals online..
I just picked up a auto-fed production scanner this week for cheap, which
will scan around 40-50 pages/min. I still need an imaging accelerator board
and a couple other things including software to build a working setup out of
it, but once I'm finished getting all this, I'll be able to scan manuals etc.
en masse for people, either OCR or direct to PDF. Ideally, I'd like to put up
a site eventually for documentation for anything and everything, once I find
a way to host it.
