Someone on AH asked a couple of days ago about a DIN sync to MIDI clock
convertor.
It got me thinking about my PIC-based MIDI to DIN sync convertor, and I
realised I could add the reverse option pretty easily.
I've added a preliminary update to the page at
http://www.octavo.demon.co.uk/colinf/m2d/m2d.htm for brave DIYers.
The new features requires 3 extra resistors, another 5 pin DIN socket
and a switch.
I've been testing it with my Tr606 driving my analogue sequencer and it
works fine so far.
For those waiting for news of my analogue sequencer project mentioned
here before, I'm about to make a small run of units with home-made PCBs
to fund the run of pro boards. Just need to get Christmas out the way
first...
Pro boards and firmware kits should be available in the new year
(although the Europa Effect makes it hard to tell which new year ;-)
