[sdiy] Oscilloscope

Hi everyone,

I just bought an oscilloscope on eBay.  The unit was sent
uninsured, arrived in a dented box, and when I shook it the
scope rattled around inside!!

This is the first time I've ever used a scope.  It's a Techtronix
2215.  So I have a few questions:

1) How can I tell if this thing works without having test leads?
2) Where is a good place to buy test leads?
3) What kind of test leads should I buy?

I turned it on, and a flat line appeared in the display.  I fooled
with some knobs and switches and got a nice bright regular
pulse to go across the screen continuously.  I'm hoping this
is a good sign.

And also if anybody has a manual they'd be willing to copy for
me, that would be awesome!  I want to get right to work - I've
got a Paia Fatman I've got to troubleshoot, and a guitar amp
to fix!
