my reticon r5101 ic is shot. I believe it was a ground issue that burned it out. I had found
one but the "guy" that had it wanted to check out my pedal to "verify" that that was the issue.
He is not associated with any lists...so no. I also saw one or two stereo chorus' on ebay..but
could not confirm if the ic was working in those situations (doa pedals). So my challenge to the
list is to find a replacement ic. By this I mean something of a 16 pin nature (will confirm)
that would be "fun". Anything I could stick in this thing to have it work.... and it doesn't
need to be a chorus. Hey maybe a clock/counter ic? Or any sort of circuit I could build and then
connect it via the ic connector. There are a few of these things out there and the ic is near
impossible to replace.. so this could be a useful and worthwhile analog undertaking.

It has to be the same IC. Now, you are on the right track: the ONLY way to get a good one is from
another working 'thing' with the same IC. There is no 'substitute'. This is the problem with ALL
BBD-based delays. Many of these chips are in PMOS, which suffer from ESD damage.
