I've known quite a few guitarists that were also mostly guitar :-)

Matter of fact, I may have been accused of that myself over the years,
but I'm primarily a guitar with too many effects, synths, hardware,
and software. But there is a little "liveware" in there somewhere.
Or should that be firmware, oh great, now I'm picturing the airport
scene from Spinal Tap.

Another thing you might look for is the EGG circuit Paia had years
ago. Seem to remember someone on the list was resurrecting it.
Or did it use one of the long-gone top octave dividers?

I saw Ronnie Montrose ages ago when he had a chrome strat with a
theremin antennae mounted on it. Looked like fun.

You might also check into Zfex Fuzz Factory. Some settings and those
things will play themselves. Usually you can find them on eBay.
