[sdiy] Turkey Day DIY activities...

For me, it's just like any other day for the
last 10 months. I'm still unemployed, quite
against my will, but this crappy economy just
won't help.

However, at least I have enough stuff 'in stock'
that I can still play to while away the hours.
(one can only look for a job for so long before
exhausting all possibilities).

Anyway, I'll be finishing up my CMOS VCO project
and then on to farting around with a CMOS VCF or
a CMOS ADSR.

The VCO so far is going very well, I finished
soldering the core and the PWM piece. Powered
it up today and it worked the first time. Yay!
The 'soldered' version is more linear and stable
than the solderless breadboard (as can be expected).
I'm getting 9 octaves of linear performance. It
may actually be more than that, but my hearing
starts to taper off. I will be able to check
another octave of the upper range when I get the
triangle suboctave soldered up.

What I have to be thankful for: Ordering parts
long ago that I figured I would need someday.
And at least I have time to do this stuff.
