Thank you Harry (of course thanks to all the others too :)
it was that kind of simply direct advice that came from
you that I was searching for. I think I will try most of them.
But can you explain some further details ?
What is meant with
> 9 Major (2 oct) / Minor (4 oct)
> 10 Minor (2 oct) / Major (4 oct)
> 11 Major scale / Fifths
?
And what is the difference between
> 1 Diatonic Major (C-D-E-F-G-A-B) Eight per octave (6
> steps per note)
and
> 14 Diatonic Major octaves (C-D-E-F-G-A-B) (4 steps per
> note)
? (beside the fact that there are different number of steps
used per note)
I guess "number of steps" are the steps of the input converter
of the quantizer ?
My design is a little bit more limited in that direction. My input
converter is truncated to 12 semitone steps per octave otherwise
I wouldn't have room enough for 12 different scales. So only
the chromatic scale and scales with 3, 4 or 6 intervals per octave
have equal step sizes regarding the input voltage. Of course
this is a drawback in appegiator like applications but I think
I will accept this.
