[sdiy] 16 Bit, 32 channel D/A converter from Maxim

    Just got the latest flyer from maxim.  They have a 32 channel DA
converter with 16 bit resolution (12 bit linearity) on a single chip.
It uses a 32 channel S/H amplifier with a single DAC (sounds familiar).
Evidently, the sample capacitors are built into the chip.  It has the
control logic built into the chip to keep all of the channels
refreshed...sounds like almost the perfect solution to DIY synth
control...I will have to look into this further.
