In small quantities I think the custom decals are too expensive. I used some
that
our company has made years ago... you can do some nice work with them... You
need to spray coat over them.
Maybe if a large DIY group order was placed, you might get the cost down... but
I bet you cannot get concensus as to WHAT decals should be included.

Its hard to get the perfect noise gate... a lot of times just removing the
hiss from the channel itself will sound like ffffip....

Some folks do repair... I can't give all names but Kevin Lightner from
synthfool (I think the site is now called synthfool lite...) does. Best to ask
what
you want done and take it from there. There are folks who are the world experts
in certain synths on list.
As far a new projects / designs... some folk may have designed one already.
Most are willing to offer free advice... so try that first....
