I love 'em.

I've built: VCO4, VCF2, VCF6, VCF8, VCADSR, LFO5, VCA5

I have also bought (but are unfinished): VCA6, SEQ2, KBD2, Bass Ace

There are some minor errors on a few of the boards, but Tom and the EFM
list are great about helping you through any problems. I've had 100%
success with them so far. I think the low cost more than makes up for the
few errors you may find... and all of the known errors are in the EFM
archives.

The VCO4/VCF2 combo sounds really good IMO (Tri/pulse/saw/sine VCO and moog
ladder)

Also, these are NOT for absolute beginners. You get a schematic, parts
list, board and a list of errors (if applicable). There are NO STEP BY
STEP INSTRUCTIONS like you'd get with MOTM, Blacet, Paia, etc. If you can
build a PCB from only a schematic, I recommend them.
