In general they are package type, temperature range, and usually offset
voltage differences.
You consult the data sheets. Even if you do not understand the sheets...
you
look for the numbers that match... those are the same. A few numbers
will not
match... those are the ones you want.
For audio purposes, esp. with capacitor coupled stages... offset voltage
is usually
no problem (suffix A is often a better voltage offset unit).
For DC with no feedback you might want the better offset voltage
version.
C is usally commercial temperature range... OK for most synths, except
the
"Mars lander" versions...
Package is what package you want, DIP, SMT, etc...
OK its too many words, sue me ;^P
