Phase vibrato: easy. No precise flat gain required.
Phaser without feedback: *not* easy to get deep notches. You need
   *precisely* flat gain for the APF.
Phaser with feedback: easy again.

That's what I tried to say with "notch phaser" vs. "resonant phaser".
