Rob,

Thanks for the quick reply.  

I tested the cap's and they seem to be ok.  The behavior has
gotten weirder though - sometimes the pitch is scaled way off...

The schem i'm using is at

The suspect part is the control voltage memory section, right?  C7 and C8
seem to be ok.  I can't find any info on the 56018 shown in the schems,
same for the 1MF3958 dual fet package.  Do these seem like likely
candidates for replacement?
