The standard for rack rail is a 10-32 tap. You might want
to use this to be compatible with all rack screws.
Right, but I was making MOTM-compatible horizontal rails, which are
inspired by but different than EIA rack standards.
I want to point out that I think the MOTM rail approach is *really*
well thought out. It could have been completely EIA rack compatible,
but 10-32 screws would have messed with the aesthetics of the panel
and the size and position of the screws would have taken up too much
panel space.
