And if this was possible, it would be a very uncomfortable experience, I
believe. What a person hears contributes a lot to his/her orientation,
perhaps much more than we are aware of. If what we hear doesn't match
what we see anymore, we would be rather irritated.
I for one feel very uncomfortable in a highly damped room. The acoustic
orientation is missing.
