Some years ago I was soldering something when suddenly the soldering-iron
slipped out of my hands. Within milliseconds my brain decided that it's
better to burn your hands than your ..... (I was wearing shorts, you know..
it was summer). I catched the iron on the wrong side - it hurt like hell.

So my ultimate saftey tip: Always solder with pants on.. I learned it the
hard way...
