[sdiy] Soldering Saftey Tip Reminder

Ok, for the sake of really making this point, I too
had a similar thing happen. Fortunately, mine, like
Jim's, was intercepted by mandatory spectacles, but it
was a huge blob, making an almost US dime sized
sheet of solder, dead center. I remember when it
happened, I thought, "dang, what if I hadn't had to
wear glasses!". I've gotten solder on different parts
of my body, mostly hands and thighs (never solder something
*over* your legs, especially when wearing shorts), but
molten solder in the eye has got to be the ultimate.
One learns as one burns.
