Well, it's not even that easy...
When you have bad HF ground to the chassi you are bound to have bad
impedance/reflections and you will also be sensitive to external
properties, such as just HOLDING the cable with your hand.

Right... it's in that neightborhood. Now, 5 mA is almost nothing for
us fellows...
