Magnetic shielding is not easy.

Toroidal transformers can work wonders. Especially when the original
transformers are particularly bad:

> made by Intronics  (new old stock... 20 years ???)

Don't know about Intronics, but I have never seen a brick shaped (pcb mount
?)
transformer that would not cause ecessive stray fields. Replaced a lot of
these,
always with dramatical improovement.
