Yo... Mo..Ho.. :^)
If it is a 12V regulated supply... that is correct.
If it is an unregulated supply... it is probably correct...
Unregulated supplies... when not fully loaded... often
give a higher output voltage.
If it is a switching supply... and it does not meet the
minimum load requirements (sometimes NOT a published spec)
it will work erratically, might damage equipment. Watch out.
