[sdiy] Hi-Z to Line Level

A few months back we were discussing incorporating
guitar foot pedal effects into our DIY synths, actually
wiring them into them.  It was brough up that, were
one to do that, the input would have to be converted
to line level.

Somebody offered up what I seem to remember as a
very easy way to do this, but I've lost the emails...
can anybody tell me what it was?
