If you look at the filter on this, you will see that the collectors in
the 'diode' ladder are floating. I have only seen two System 101s, and
in both, the collectors were pre-bent and soldered to the base lead of
the transistors (or other way around). The legend on the PCB also
indicated this, although it is not mentioned in the Roland Service
Notes.

The SH-2000 has them also joined together but on the PCB.
