Never thought about the bass reduction, but now that you mention it, yes
it could be. Its more like a TB303 filter than a Moog, somehow more
dirty than the smoothness of the moog ladder. But it does certainly
cut-off more than the TB3030's filter. mmm... difficult to describe.

The SH-2000 even with different VCOs to the System-101, still has the
same sort of sound. The sawtooth in the SH2000 is generated by a Harmuth
set of square waves, and they have that little extra hollow buzz that a
proper saw VCO, like the System 100, doesn't.

My 2000 has been modded extensively now. Internally that is, it still
looks the like same cheese-monster. I'll try to get some samples done
tomorrow and bung them up on my site.

I really do need to get some sort of midi interface for it. Blooming
linear VCOs make it so difficult.
