[sdiy] replacing LCD/LED's : Newbie w/dead CZ-101

whoah...anyone tried this on an MC-202? I'm getting one in a week and i
definitely wanna do that since i wanna play live. Since it's an easy
display, I figure I I'd get away with a red LED rather than the backlit
LCD.....though I wouldn't mind that either.

I used a display which I ordered from Conrad. As the display used orginally
has standard dimensions you can use any standard 2x16 LCD. Beware that the
display is much thicker because of the LED unit, I had to modify something
but I'm not sure what that was. And I won't pull it apart to take a look :-)
But it's really big enhancement.
