Hi Folks!
There is some good and bad news...
The good is:
It is now on the 14th of May that Dr. Robert A. Moog together with
Karlheinz Stockhausen and Burt Bacharach will recieve the Polar Music
Prize our of his majesty King Carl XVI Gustaf. I and a number of
members of the Swedish AH-sister (were' sexy like hell ;) list SAS
(Swedish Analogsynth Sympatisers - but we are really called Svenska
Analogsynth Sympatisörer) will attend to ensure it will be according
to the book. This event will be sent live in SVT1 (Swedish Television
channel 1), I don't know if the rest of the world will recieve it
thought.
On Tuesday Bob will lecture at KTH (the Royal Institute of
Technology), and sure enougth will a number of us be there...
Then, on Wednsday will we hold a nice dinner with Bob and his wife
Ileana in his honour. We will make sure he wont forget that evening.
Rumours gives at hand that there will be some Moog-synth at the
dinner, but nobody wants to confirm that. We will naturally take
photos of the event for you to see...
The bad news is that I need to carry a tie!
Anyway, I thought you possibly liked to know.
Cheers,
Magnus - a tie breaker
