[sdiy] Aries modular schematics detail

The Aries PD-10 module is probably the same (or similar) to the 10-stage
transistor ladder phasing modules used in the CFR Associates/Tau Systems
"Pipe" and the Trine Corp Pipe. I inquired about this last year and one
AH member informed me that he had cut open one of the two identical
epoxy modules in his Tau Systems Pipe and found 20 discrete transistors
and 20 capacitors. The ladder topology is the same as that used in the
ARP Quadra 14-stage phaser, where it is implemented with transistor
array IC's instead of discrete transistors. The connections to the rest
of the Aries phaser circuit are what would be expected if a ladder was
used. Grant R. tells me he has seen the different manufacturer's modules
and they all look similar.
